Port Richmond

Sitting alongside the Delaware River, this unique neighborhood has a history of long-time residents, a proud Polish and Irish Heritage, and is seeing a surge of young professionals and families moving in. Many small businesses can be found along Allegheny Ave and the up and coming Richmond St; but Port Richmond is also on the doorstep of the Aramingo Ave shopping district where big-box stores like Target, Lowes, Shoprite, and Wal-Mart are located. It's also just a short drive to the trendy Girard/Frankford Corridor, and Northern Liberties.

Fishtown

Cool is the rule in Fishtown, which has emerged as Philly’s truest harbor of artistic, culinary and musical action. North of Girard, south of Lehigh, and east of Front, Philly’s young creative class has put down roots, hoping to take their ideas from gestation to reality. A momentous influx of bars, restaurants, music venues, studios and galleries are the result of such hustle, and newcomers’ integration and collaboration with the neighborhood’s long-time residents and families has set Fishtown on a forward-thinking path.
